Great Police Department! I can't wait until I work for OKCPD...
Really i saw 4 cop cars pass me with my emergency lights on & none of them stopped to see if they could help.
I cannot say enough about the Oklahoma City police from the Santa Fe division, particularly Sergeant Strickland. We had a mishap with our big rig rv/trailer that blocked 3 of 4 lanes of traffic on a major thoroughfare for 3 hours and the police were super helpful in getting us needed tow trucks, directing traffic and keeping everybody calm. Thank you Sergeant Strickland and all the others who assisted us yesterday! You’re all terrific!
My dad , almost turn 70, got abused by 2 young Oklahoma City police officers couple years back for no reason. They then made up a speeding ticket and the time. Be careful...lots of psychos/arrogant working there.
Please be safe. On 10/12/18 My husband and my 9 year old was stopped in routine traffic. My nine year old was in the front seat. The office ( C. Barnes) asked for my husband for his info. My husband gave him all his info. The office went to his car and came back with a ticket. He gave my husband back all his info. My husband placed everything in the glove department and place his hands back on the wheel. The officer than takes his gun out and points it in the car. My husband is asking him not to shoot with his son in the car. The officer than states he couldn't see his hands. My husband is driving a sports car that sit low to the ground. The officer standing out side of the car can see everything in this two seat car. The officer than states that is how people get shot by moving to fast. This has to STOP. My husband is a black man with dread. Please stop profiling people. My husband has no record and never been arrested.
