One of the poorest schools in Richmond county. Its in a very very bad location one house down frm the school people got arrested for doing meth. A couple houses down frm that house people were busted for drugs. On top of that they have fences and gates that they never close n lock so drug dealers drug users ect go there to do their thing not to mention they do have camera s that run only during school hours and when school is in effect. Also richmond county schools do not know how to deal or handle kids with adhd &/or autism. They have kids that speak spanish and teachers have to stop to make sure that those kids are understanding what is being said to them. I was told by a teacher & staff that richmond county school board does not have the money to provide learning disability classes speech theropy area classrooms with spanish speaking teachers or an interpreter for each class that has an hispanic child in it. Way I look at this & believe me it was like this when I started high school but maybe the school board needs to pull their heads out of the football teams butt and not put every nickle n dime (to include money from box tops) to the football team and field and start worrying about other schools and their needs.
