This was an amazing school! The people are very kind the teachers are very good.

I went here for just under a year, around 4 years ago. I was bullied my entire time, and not once did the staff see it happen. I felt unable to speak out. I felt trapped. I felt embarrassed. This still has impacts on me today, such as my voice forced monotone, from all the tireless days of being told to stop talking, and my self confidence issues. Everytime we went out to the field, I would be assaulted by a football, or soccerball, and/or made fun of for my interests. And, one time, someone tried to break my arm in that same field. I was also constantly harassed for my political, and religious beliefs. Not once did staff step in, or pay attention, even though it was almost daily. Awful school.

The school is great unless your child has any issues which affect their day to day function or comprehension, be it health related or academically. They offer zero support and shove things under the rug repeatedly. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to get a 504 plan or accommodations no matter the severity of the issues at hand. Staff will string you along for years, making you believe they are working on it when nothing is being done, then you are required to start back at square one. Emails and phone calls go completely unanswered and ignored not only by Mr. Swofford but several other staff members as well. Swofford has plenty of time on his hands to come up with catchy songs to announce snow days but no time to answer emails from concerned parents. Concerns are brushed off and ignored. There is clearly a blatant lack of respect for parents.

Excellent school, academics are top notch and so is the staff.
