On a recent trip from atlanta i had a phone charging malfunction and my phone died. I was at the intersection of hwy61 and hwy 63 ( i believe ) it was 1045 pm and there was nothing open and i was essentially lost. SGT. Hughes while on patrol happened upon me and tried to fix my issue ( the USB port was not working in the rental car i was in ). SGT. Hughes went to his vehicle and gave me HIS own phone charging station and REFUSED any payment in return simply saying “ PASS IT ON “. Well, this what i will do kind sir. Unbeknownst to SGT. Hughes this was a hunting trip for me, and by His generosity I was able to make it to my Destiination and enjoy my trip.nTHANK YOU SGT. HUGHES FOR YOUR SERVICE, I hope we meet again!!!!!!!!nCABOOL PD gets 5 STARS from me

I frequently travel to Cabool from West Plains for varying reasons.nOn multiple occasions I have been threatened, harassed, detained. And accused of being a robber, a sexual predator, a rapist, and a child molester by some of Cabool's police officers; for no reason other than being there.nIf you mention that you do not live in Cabool, they will most likely yell at you, berate you and treat you like a criminal even though you have done nothing wrong.nIf you are passing through Cabool stay as far away as you can from Cabool's police officers as they do not like outsiders.nnJust to be clear, I have no criminal record and have only been ticketed twice.nOnce for having expired tags and another time for getting caught in a speed trap.nI am a college student attending MSU-WP and plan to get Master's degree in both computer engineering and Computer IT from Missouri University Of Science And Technology.
