I would like to thank Sergeant John Arsenault and officer Hall. It was Saturday, December 7,2019 around 3:pm. I had a flat tire in the middle of the road and within a second these officers were there with a lug wrench in their hand. Even before I got my tire jack from the car, they already started working on my flat tire. rolling on the ground to put the tire jack under my car. Unbelievable. They helped out changing my tire in no time. I lived in Montgomery county for the last 22 years and I always like the Montgomery County police officers. Thank you so much Sgt.Arsenault and Officer Hall. Happy Holidays!!

I called today with a question about the lane control signals and was given a researched answer in the correct way to respond. Thanks for the help!

I walked into this station after I got out of my work at around 3:30 or 4 in the morning to write a formal complaint about another officer from the police station in Wheaton and I asked to speak with the officer on duty. Sgt. D. Miller came out to speak with me. He was very professional and showed determination on solving my issue. He provided me with all the paperwork needed to file my formal complaint and took measures to contact the proper officials to inform them of the situation. I was contacted by the supervisor of the bad officer that same morning and although he was NOT as professional as Sgt. Miller, things now seem to be moving forward with my issue (at least that's what I'm hoping for since the bad officer is from the Wheaton Station). I have to say that I did lose confidence in this department after dealing with the bad officer I filed the compliant for AND his supervisor, but the fact that Sgt. Miller took the matter seriously showed me that NOT All officers are the same. I chose this station because I had a previous experience with filing a police report and it was handled by a very professional female officer who got things done as well. So I have to thank ALL of the officers from the 3rd District for their excellent work!!

On May 20 I was in a car accident and taken to the ER. I was told several times by the police officer that he would get all of the information. I was not told how long it would take to get this information. Apparently, after many phone calls to get this information I was told that I had to wait on the police report. I did not need a formal police report. I just needed the name of the driver that hit me, his policy number, and license number. My insurance can get the report later if they needed it. My car was in storage for 3 days before I could even start the repair process because I did not have any of this information. I had no car and no access to a rent a car because the recovery/repair process can not start without at least a policy number. I had to bum rides to and from work. My insurance company even called and they would not give them any information which doesn’t make any sense. After many calls I found out that the officer would not be back to work until Wednesday evening (3 days later). I left a message, but no return call. I assume that this report is a formality but in order to start the recovery/repair process this vital information is needed earlier than waiting for the availability of a formal police report. Hopefully, this policy will be modified because it is not fair to the person that was injured and out of a car with no information to wait until someone comes back to work and has time to complete a report when the information is sitting there on someone’s desk. Never leave the scene of an accident until you get this information.
