It's a place that truly endorses Black Excellence in terms of the Arts and has a rich history embedded within the community. I love being in that space and now the Winter Motherland is there and is a sight to see. On display are Uhuru Quilts and they look amazing as strong bodies of work. Also showing how quilting has a long standing tradition within the black communities.
Beautiful space anf friendly staff. You can also rent indoor or outdoor space for private parties
Lots of interesting events and things to see and do. Highly recommend stopping by.
This Museum feels like home. Inspiration, Story, Color right when you walk through the doorud83dudc4cud83cudffe The staff is welcoming and their is always an interesting Event talking place. I held a community gathering here for the Youth in Arts, the Gallery Exhibition that surrounded us was the perfect touch.nnKayla Harley
