Great place for historic research. Entrance is on the Courthouse Sq side, not E. Jefferson. There is not a lot of parking in the old red brick courthouse, although there are nearby garages and street parking, for pay parking. The archives are open by appointment, email ahead.
Peerless Rockville is the best source for Rockville history, whether doing archival research or for general knowledge. It has recently acquired an exhibit space that will be devoted to displays on Rockville history.
