As the director of a private mental health practice in Northern Virginia, parents frequently asked about programs and school placements for their children -- the Katherine Thomas School is always high on my list. I have especially been impressed with their early intervention preschool program and their high school program for teens with high functioning autism (formerly known as Asperger's). You pay up front, which is common but then when you actually need her you can never get her to answer the phone or be of any actual help. If you want to go to court she will stall and try to get you to reconsider. She must be too concerned with her current election considering she is running for District Judge.
