Been there couple of times to file a complaint. Everyone was polite and asked if anything they could do to help even if they pass next to you if you are waiting. They are short handed but always made the efforts to listen and try to help. Though the culprit don't always get caught sooner but I understand it's a process. Overall I have found them polite and helpful.

Haven't really ever had any experience needed for the police since I moved here a year ago but I see them patrolling my neighborhood and surrounding areas because I live close to a busy street and have to say its comforting and I sleep better at night because I know that no matter what mishaps they've had in the past they're keeping us safe and sound. Leaving home every day to protect and enforce safety and morality in the town for others is very selfless. Thank y'all!

I am never one to review anything but the Sulphur Police Dept helped me in a time of need. Someone ran into the back of me on Interstate 10 then fled the scene. The Sulphur Police Dept and State Trooper's office were quick to respond. My wife and daughters were with me and the police made them feel safe and secure. Justice was served and for that I am very grateful.

I wouldn’t call them if my life depended on it. The Major of traffic violations returned my call, on my personal cell phone, after I left message about one of his officers telling me that “I should hope that I don’t run into him again, because things will go a lot differently next time.” (Which, I’m a female in her early 20’s, so that could mean several things. Does this mean I should worry about being assaulted? Does this mean I should worry about being falsely detained on a day I’m going to the grocery store, for instance?) The Major told me over the phone that “If it were him, he would have put my a s s in handcuffs and dragged my a s s to jail.” I’m sure there’s a Louisiana Policemen Code of Ethics & Guidelines section about your behavior and speech towards private citizens that was violated during that phone conversation as well.nThank you to those who are full of grace, wisdom, and serve the public with compassion as intended!

I was stopped by a kind officer today, unit 0 I would assume from the number on back of the car. I pulled off because I knew I was doing something wrong. I admitted I was speeding and he was respectful. No problems.
