I moved into a new apartment and had electric for 2 weeks and then it got shut off. No warning and no communication from Entergy. When I called to find out why the electric was shut off I was told by Pamela who is a supervisor that my account was going through the verification process and that department was closed. Nothing she could do to help me and there is not a phone number for that department. I had my email verification that my account was created and approved by Entergy but nothing she could do. This is completely unacceptable on so many levels. So we will continue to have no electric until I can wait to the proper department to decide to CALL ME because there is no way for me to contact them. I have to file a complaint and wait for a call. Horrific and inhuman behavior by Entergy!!

I just want to know why my power is off! I can't get to a real person on Entergy's phone line. My neighborhood has been without power for 17 hours and Entergy estimates that it will be off for another 5 hours. WHY? There wasn't a storm. I just bought groceries yesterday so all that is wasted. I have to go purchase ice and a new ice chest to try to salvage some of it. I can't work today and my daughter can't go to school because we do those things remotely. An unexplained outage of this amount of time has never happened before. What's going on Entergy?????

I had to pick a star to write a comment otherwise it would have been 0 stars. I’m going to start by saying this Hurricane Laura was a Horrible storm and knocked power lines down in its path and I understand that people are overwhelmed and it’s going to take some time, I live on Jamie Renee Lane been running a Generator since the Hurricane burning 25 gallons a day. I was standing on My driveway Electrical Truck pulls up asked me my Address stated he was getting the addresses where they had to put the Transformers up which the one in my yard was dropped on the ground a week ago and still there. Later around 45 minutes lights came on in my neighborhood Tuesday September 8th fixed 99% the 4 houses across suffered severe damage and none of the homeowners are living in the and the 2 on each side of me same conditions and the problem I have with the situation is 99% of the Neighborhood is up and running and I have 2 Transformers on each side on the ground and no one has even attempted to put not one of them up, I called Entergy after a long wait I got I touched with someone and told her my situation and she pulled up my Address and said she can see I didn’t have lights and 2 of my neighbors and I told her my 2 neighbors houses are severely damaged and my neighbors are not living in them. She told me that there was no time frame on when they would be back to my Address but I’m getting a text from Entergy stating your BILL IS DO IN 6 DAYS. Pretty much I’ll be the Last one to get my lights on, no time frame, Transformer on the ground and 99% of the Neighborhood up and running it doesn’t make any since to do 99% in one area and leave and don’t come back, I look out my back door new subdivision maybe 60 yards behind me this whole entire area has Electricity, I’m the second street in my neighborhood 3rd house and the neighborhood has 6 streets and my street was the last one worked on and stopped 2 houses before me and the very next house no one is there. This is really frustrating when I’m burning 25 gallons of gasoline daily, heating water on a propane burner and taking cold showers and everyone else has Electricity. I think I could handle it better if it wasn’t like this, me personally if you’re going into a neighborhood finish it, don’t go into a area and fix 99% of it and throw the other 1% to the Wolves and I swill survive this............

They keep lying about sending someone to hook up my power. My whole street got power back but me. So sad. I called twice today to be lied to twice.
