Terminal Park Elementary School

My son is a Kindergarten student here at Terminal Park, and I can honestly say that his teacher Mrs. Manning is absolutely FANTASTIC! My son started school not knowing much about letters and numbers, or anything at all. And now he knows so much it’s incredible. Mrs. Manning is not only teaching him new things every single day when he attends school, but she actually shows that she cares about her students. By far speaking as a mother and by my sons knowledge from his teacher she is doing such a great job. And it’s much appreciated. ud83dude42 The only flaw I can honestly speak upon is my son does come home and says the students at the school are very mean and push him around which I highly dislike due to the fact I don’t EVER want to find out my child is being bullied. Other then that it’s a good school, and I can’t wait to see how it looks when it’s remodeld.

Every year Faith and Victory church do the annual Easter egg hunt, raffle, and BBQ here!

The principal Mr.dudley is very helpful with any situation he really makes this school great for kids parents and teachers hes awesome couldnt say it in any better way and my kid loves this school

Personally i do appreciate all the teachers but i do not like the curriculum there. I have kids attending this elementary as we speak and they complain a lot about their teachers and some students. They also have two recess and my son said its just a waste of time for it and he could have been doing something important. Even on the P.E. day they still have two recesses. My son is only 7 yrs old and thinks mature and this school is going to make him fall behind. Homeworks, well what can u say. Homeworks helped my son a lot last year at a different school now he is only getting one sheet of paper homework everyday and its what kindergarteners do like coloring and all that nonsense. My kids complain about one kid pulling his pants down during recess one day...this is why two recess daily isnt necessary even on P.E. days. My kids missed their old school because every teacher there take kids seriously. One of my kid told me she keeps raising her hand for help but the teacher never tended to her needs. This is so sad. I fully understand the hard job teachers do (i used to be one) but if my child is complaing about the same thing everyday after school then theres an issue that needs to be discussed.nAll schools are different and unique in their own ways. I really hope that the staff can take a good look and be tentive and raise the curriculum bar to a higher level. Each student is special in their own ways. Still have more to say....Im very disappointed and sad.
