Great place to learn about Auburn and the white river valley
Fun little museum with plenty of Auburn history! I was surprised how well done the exhibits are. I'd go back, as well as recommend this little museum to friends from out of town.
White River Valley Museum is a place where can learn history of Auburn. Small but very informational. Have crafts for kids and a dress up place. The staff is great here, very helpful! We had a super fun time!
I love the White River Valley Museum! Cute historical museum with a plethora of information about people who have and continue to live in the White River Valley area (Auburn, Kent, Algona, Pacific, etc.). Lots of hands-on activities for little ones, and their rotating exhibits are lovely as well. They also put on several fun events and activities throughout the year, definitely worth a visit!
Visited Saturday. Most of Auburn's and the Valley's history is presented in beautiful living displays. This brings more life to the artifacts than just being displayed using cabinets, tables or walls. The museum is small which is why I didn't give the 5th star. Worth a visit though when in Auburn.
