Ezell's Famous Chicken

Great customer service from manager. Chicken is very good quality and the breading is light & crispy. The corn is awesome and the Mac & cheese is super cheesy. We ordered some regular and some spicy chicken and the manager (pretty black woman with nose ring & mint green shirt) let us know it would be 20 minutes for the spicy chicken to be ready. We waited and she hooked us up with some extra chicken & sides! I’m glad we waited because the spicy chicken is my new fave. We just moved to the area and will keep coming back.

Amazing food ! Definitely a great soul food staple . Although the atmosphere isn’t very lively and is a little boring , the food is heavenly . Chicken is cooked to delicacy and the sides fit the meal perfectly. Definitely recommend for families and friends !

Southern style fried chicken with a crisp breading. I also love the okra, livers, and gizzards! Great taste and texture. The people that work here are friendly and keep the place clean. So much better than the big chains.

So yum! So here's what happened we went to the Tacoma location. Because we live in Olympia and that's closest to us. We got there. Immediately the lady yelled out we're out this, we're out that. It's 2 hrs before closing time. The kid at the register had asked us what we would like, being that it was our very first time there. We were looking at the menu asking about things. Another person came in and the kid immediately started off talking to that kid. So we just ended up leaving. We called the Federal Way location placed an order over the phone. Got there got our full order and left. It was literally the best fried chicken I have ever had. Every thing was so juicy and still warm when we got home. The rolls are yummy!

Excellent, juicy chicken with a crispy crackling crust. I reccomend their spicy blend over their original, as it's not particularly hot and pleasantly picante. Rolls are soft and delicate, and would be phenomenal with a whipped butter. Fries were a great surprise! They are much more flavorful and crispy than the cafeteria-crinkle-cut led me to expect. Extremely filling for a very affordable price. Very happy to have tried them out, will come again!
