So I read the reviews and still decided to book my appointment online with “Brittany”. My appointment was scheduled for Monday. I got the text to confirm. I then called on Saturday to confirm and also ask what entrance to park at... all to receive an unprofessional call the night before my appointment... “you know Brittany is out right?”. Seriously I was looking at my phone dumbfounded... how would I know this ma’am? Anyway, I won’t be rescheduling with Brittany or anyone else at this franchise.

I came to Shea Locs for my first retwist after getting instant locs by another stylist/shop. I wasn’t happy with the way the previous stylist did my hair, which is why I came to Shea Locs. The service I received at Shea Locs was very great along with being very informative and nice! My stylist E has definitely gained me as a repeat customer. Oh, and my E did my husbands hair VERY nice as well. We’ll be back! Thank you!!!

I was happy when I first went here to do my hair. I got a flat iron, blow dry and trim. My hair looked and felt great! But two weeks later when I went to wash my hair, I noticed I had severe heat damage and that my stylist never used heat protectant on my hair but just the rose water spray the salon offered. I mean any one who works with any type of hair should know to use heat protectant.

I have been wanting to start my loc journey for a while. I am not going to lie I was pretty nervous due to them only doing diamond parts as I am real picky. I wanted to make sure the front of my hair looked good, and that I had flexibility regarding styling. I had Cherry and she was great! She was very patient, considerate, and kind. She made sure to run the section in the front by me, and I am so grateful she did. The salon was very clean, the chairs were spaced out well, and the staff was very professional.nnI did a lot of research on salons, and I am so grateful I chose Shea Locs. I paid a pretty penny, but it was worth it. I can't wait until my locs start maturing. I usually do my own hair so it's nice to treat myself and have such a great experience. And that shampoo was so relaxing, I love the mint as it really made my scalp feel clean and stimulated! I also got some of the products from their line. I am excited to use them, and they have clean ingredients. I am very specific regarding what I put on my hair, no parabens, petrochemicals, etc. It is so nice to find a salon that aligns with my values.

I love going here! I've only ever gone to Cherry, who started and maintain my locs but everyone there has a very friendly demeanor. The music is always great with a nice clean variety so it makes the atmosphere inviting for all ages. They also only use natural products so you don't have product build up and make recommendations that benefit you and your hair, not just to make money. I would definitely recommend.
