My husband & I hired Suzanne Johnson from REMAX Realty out of Millageville, GA. We made an offer on this house the weekend of Thanksgiving 2018. We ended up closing on January 15, 2020. So, this sale did NOT take her a long time. We are very disappointed because our agent choose to miss our closing because she had a “personal photo shoot”, and apparently she did not want to reschedule. We feel as those we were NOT important to her & this sale wasn’t a big deal to her. Even though we read great reviews on REMAX website, about her, we had no idea Mrs. Johnson was going to be so unprofessional! Our comments are for anyone who's purchasing a house/home, is to be aware of ”non-compassionate” agents like this. Even though this was a quick sale for her & she probably made $5,000 (splitting her percentage with the listing agent), she did send us a thank you card & a big $25 gift card from Ace Hardware. Oh yeah....she included a copy of HER published “cookbook” with a cheap pen & small notepad. We don’t not care about her gift but we did find it cheap & cheesy with her own cook book including her gift to us. Also, we chose to use her husband to do our “home inspection”. Which is our fault....we will NEVER do this again. He did point out several things on our report that need or would need repairing. But there are many other items that we were not aware of before closing. Like, we weren’t told that this house had been setting EMPTY until we were in escrow. And our agent was suppose to purchase us an extended home warranty. She did purchase this but she didn’t make that policy effective on our closing date, instead she made it start the next month. She had promised this to be effective at closing! None of this was illegal but some of the things she did or didn’t do, we found that she is NOT & did not have moral standards regarding our sale. We will NOT recommend this agent or REMAX Realty to anyone! It’s a shame that you have agents who represent your company in this manner!nnAnd by the way, she’s never called or emailed us to see if we’re happy with our purchase! But I do hope her private “photo shoot” turned out good! Hopefully she didn’t break their camera with her lack of a smile or personality. Or perhaps her lack of “moral values”! I’m not saying she is a BAD person but her lack of caring for US was ridiculous!nnRegrets,nPatti Daugherty
