The Home Depot

I am extremely upset with the service provided by Leyda Ortiz, kitchen design consultant. We visited Home Depot on 3/15/21 around 5pm. She was with another customer, so we waited for over 30 minutes to speak to her. Another Spanish speaking customer interrupted her while she was with the customer and she helped them. When she finished, she approached us in Spanish. Although I speak Spanish, my husband does not, so I asked her if she spoke English. She basically told us she couldn’t help us because she got there very early and was almost leaving. She asked that I email her and she would provide me the following day with an estimate to what I briefly requested. I did as she asked and she never replied to my email. I ended up going to another Home Depot, closer to my home and had a very pleasant experience with Leigh Ewing. If you are not Spanish speaking, don’t bother going to the Home Depot in the Mall of the Americas. Hopefully Ms. Ortiz is not representative of everyone else at that location.

Curbside pickup was easy and great. The person who brought me the product went out of his way to help me. He went back inside to double check the product number manually to insure that the product was the correct one because the picture looked different from the website photo. Wish I had remembered to write his name down.

Unfortunately, very limited selections with regards to address plaque numbers for your house. Nothing in brass selections.

Home Depot is a great place to buy anything needed for home improvement projects, home cleaning & patio/garden maintenance. Very good pricing, friendly customer service & military/veterans discount make it my place to shop!

Social distancing bring observed was refreshing. Employees were very helpful. Couldn’t find item needed. Will look for item online.
