Five years ago when our daughter entered The Bush School, I was unconvinced about the value: Can it really be that worthwhile? Couldn’t we invest that money elsewhere? Upper school yes, but lower school too?nnSince then I have become strongly convinced. She has received a very strong education, stronger than our neighbors received through other schools (both private and accelerated public programs). Classes are typically 16-17 kids, students are focused on learning (not behavior problems), and the work is both relevant and challenging for them. While there are many accelerated students it is not exclusively and accelerated school.nnMy biggest surprise, however, are the positive behaviors. First there is a joy of discovery and learning that is uplifting. Even in the hardest assignments, there has never been a complaint. Second, there is a lot of respect and kindness. Students are respectful and kind, they are inclusive, and reach to help each other. Finally there is a community (of students, teachers and parents) that work really well to support and grow the children and grow that respect and kindness.nnWe have been very happy with The Bush School and it is a great and complete education.

We had two kids who went to this school ( k-12 ) and are now in their late twenties. It was not an easy school, but they are amazed at how well this school prepared them for college, work, and life. Best gift we gave our kids!
