Above and beyond awesome. Friendly helpful staff. Great selection of IPAs. Amazing game room. We love went for the first time last weekend and immediately came back again this weekend. Pizza is super yummy as well.

I like seeing places like this... good beer, good bar games, reasonable prices. Fun afternoon!

Under COVID restrictions, wear a mask & socially distance. Dog friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating. Flights are available if you want to sample more. If you're an IPA fan, this is the a great spot! Beers are available to go and plenty of parking is available. There's a great industrial vibe and game room.

Basic City is not local to RVA, but this is still one of my favorite breweries in the city. I wish they got more business because it is kind of in a weird location, but I also love that they are never too busy. Delicious beers in an awesome atmosphere and multiple employees who have served me have always been kind and helpful.
