Richmond Times-Dispatch

I work at an assisted living facility in the Richmond area. I am consistently not getting the correct amount of papers for the residents that live here. Every morning I come in to start the day (I am a receptionist) and one of my jobs is to make sure the residents who are supposed to receive a newspaper, do. I am supposed to get a certain amount of papers and never seem to be able to receive the correct amount. Last Sunday I didn't have any. Today I only received two. Sometime last week, we received none AGAIN. This has been happening almost every day for the past week. They never seem to be able to deliver the correct amount that people here are paying for. I constantly get complaints from families about this problem, yet I can not do anything about it. I finally called to talk to someone about what has been going on. The person was not helpful at all. They put me through to a machine, when I had explained that I had already gone through the whole process of reporting the problem and pressing number after number to only listen to a machine every single time. I wanted to speak with someone to see if there was any way I could make sure this problem could be fixed, so I don't have to keep calling and complaining. Because of the way I was simply thrown to the side and put through to a machine, I'm sure this problem will still be happening. I personally could care less about dealing with these papers. I only truly care because my residents are constantly not getting the service they are paying for. Then they complain to their families, then I get complaints from the families. I'm used to listening to complaints, so that does not bother me, but I am tired of my residents having to deal with this poor service.

My almost-favorite paper! Their editorials are more balanced than any other conservative paper I have ever read.

Working for the Richmond Newspaper not as easy as it looks ! Waiting sometimes to 1- 3:30am.,then putting the paper together, bagging delivering . DAMAGE my car dents and scratches and slicing my tire. And the pay is not what they say.. I'm still waiting for my check !
