La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Norfolk Airport

Noisy, if you want to party and not sleep, this is the place for you! Noise transfer between rooms is horrible. Recently remodeled but they did nothing to reduce noise. Can hear the TV above me and on each side. Small dog barking in one room, front desk said they would fix the problem and call me, never did. Seems they are okay with rude guests and staff. Housekeeping yelling down the hallway until 5:00 PM, a lot of guests have their doors open. One big party, really sorry I booked for two nights. Stay anywhere but here! The discount price buys you misery.

First off, the front desk clerk was amazing! The hotel had a beautiful lobby and a nice, clean rooms. Besides some packaged food being left in the mini fridge which we found when loaded up our snacks, we had no complaints. Loved that they are pet friendly and close to places to eat and shop

The rooms are amazing for the prices! We had a remodeled room on the 4th floor. Tall ceilings, beautiful room furnishings. Very modern. The room smelled clean and inviting. I was worried about traffic noise from Military Hwy but the room was very dark and quiet for a restful night. The front desk staff was warm and super helpful. The only disappointment was the pool. The water was cold and uncomfortable especially for an indoor pool, and the room was very small with a terrible echo. Otherwise, genuinely no complaints.

The nighttime desk clerk, Tara, was really nice and accommodating during our stay. They are under construction currently, so things are in a little bit of disrepair, but they were really courteous & helpful despite their current upgrade happening while they continue to operate. We stayed in one of the newly constructed rooms & it was really nice. After the facelift, I think their reputation will continue to grow as one of the better hotels in the Norfolk area.

My boyfriend and I was stranded because flights were canceled. We called this hotel at last min. I've never stayed at this hotel so I was shocked when I walked into room. To my surprise everything was new and clean. The pics doesn't do it justice. Everything is modern. Give them a try.
