Just received a call from Norfolk today and they advised they accidentally sent me my retirement check that I wanted rolled over to another retirement. They. called and stated they had to cancel the check because they sent it in error and to not cash. So i already spent $10.00, not much just the principle in the matter, to get it mailed certified to my new retirement. The subject left a voicemail and told me to call back. I called and immediately placed on hold. After an extended period of time and no one picking up, i hung up and called back. Now no one will answer. No wonder its a shame to work in this city and its a mass exodus. Cant even hire good people ti answer the phone and mail entire retirement checks in error.nnI have worked for many cities in the past and this is by far the worst.

The employees in the retirement DON'T answer the phone, return voicemail messages or email messages. It's the luck of the draw if and when someone responds.
