Centre-Ville Cleaners

I just discovered this cleaners on Facebook and tried the pick up and delivery service. They were very responsive and the quality was really good compared to the price. They deserve some recognition. Thanks for being open during this difficult times.

Good consistant quality and cheaper and faster then most. Most days i can get my clothes no matter how many i drop off next day. This beats the pants off of the competetion. Some of which can take upto a week.

I am very unhappy with the practices and customer service at Centre-Ville Cleaners at the NE 8th Street QFC in Bellevue. I had them dry clean my Calvin Klein down parka. When I picked it up, the belt buckle was so badly damaged that it didn’t function at all. The pewter colored metal finish was also damaged/gone in places. There were also four small holes in the sleeve where another piece of hardware damaged the fabric. The jacket never should have been cleaned with the belt attached. (They admit this.)nnI brought the jacket back to see what they could do to fix it. The employee (name unknown) took the belt and said he would fix it for me. When I came back a few days later, he had bent the belt buckle (presumably with pliers) so that it now worked, but this solution looked absolutely terrible. This buckle was completely mangled and the pewter finish was ruined.nnI asked what they would do to fix the problem, or compensate me for the loss of this jacket. Could I have the buckle replaced and have them reimburse me? Or could I have a credit on my account? The employee said that he would have to talk to his boss (Scott) and that he would call me back in a day or two. A week goes by and no response. I go back in and the employee tells me that Scott has been out of town and that he will call me that week. Another week goes by with no response. Repeat this over the next few weeks and finally, the employee tells me that this will need to go through their insurance company and he gives me a phone number for Scott so that I can call him directly. I don’t really care how it’s resolved; I just want this off my to-do list.nnWhile on the phone with Scott, he is rude and uncooperative. He is constantly interrupting and talking over me. He has to get off the phone to “help customers” (who am I?!?) three times. He admits that the belt should not have been damaged but does not offer any reasonable solutions to remedy the problem. What a huge waste of my time. At one point he asks “What do you want me to do, refund the cleaning fee?” Why yes - that would be a good place to start since you RUINED MY JACKET! How about that for customer service? He finally says that he will have a metal repair place fix the belt. The belt still looks like trash and needs to be replaced.nnAt this point, I’m resigned to just buying another jacket because I am so sick of dealing with this business and their complete lack of customer service. I will NEVER bring any garments to this dry cleaner again. They treat other people’s belongings poorly and then don’t follow through to fix a mistake that was their fault. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Stay away!
