Chester Cleaners

Do NOT go to this Cleaner for Cleaning or worst yet, ALTERATIONS. Rude and they REFUSE to correct THEIR MISTAKES on ALTERATIONS. Their philosophy is that if you leave the cleaners with your garment, that signals your satisfaction. No one tries on a garment until they get home or get ready to wear it. They make you pay FULL PRICE if you return with clothes that were hemmed incorrectly. Horrible business.

DO NOT GO HERE. Chester Cleaners is AWFUL. They have the WORST customer service of any business I have ever worked with. After picking up a comforter set that my husband and I dropped off for cleaning, we stored it until we moved. A few weeks later we opened it up and excitedly put it on our bed in our new home. MUCH to our dismay (the week before Christmas, too, I might add) our comforter set was completely RUINED. I take some responsibility beccause I should have checked before I left the cleaners at pick up but we trusted them since some of the Chesterfield County govt departments have contracts with them. The $200 comforter set had threads loose, pulls, and strange lines horizontally across as if something was rolled onto it. When I went in to show the cleaners and expected an apology- they accused me and my husband of letting our cat scratch it up....WE DO NOT HAVE A CAT....and they also said that we washed it in our own washing machine....IT WOULDNT FIT IN OUR MACHINE IF WE TRIED....and why would I wash it in a washing machine when I already showed my care for the set by bringing it to get dry cleaned in the first place? Not once did they show any concern or take responsibility- they accused us and did not in the slightest offer any compensation..not even for the LOUSY job they did cleaning it. Awful, disgusting business ethics. Thank you Chester Cleaners for accusing a customer and then not taking any responsibility for your mistakes. DO NOT GO HERE

Have been going here for years and then 1 order I brought my usual. Well this time around they gave 1 of my sweaters to another person. I showed them the receipt and it showed how many items was on my order as plane as day and they jus shrugged their shoulders. I asked for compensation ($150 lacoste sweater) and they jus looked at me like I was crazy. Sooooo.... needless to say that this is a cleaners that will not be visited again! Go at your own risk! count your items in front of them before you leave and make sure the order shows exactly what you brought in!! Maybe you'll get lucky!

Do not go to this cleaners! Very rude and my items were not cleaned that I was charged $20.00 for. The owner has a constant attitude and you may end up telling him something. He does not take pride in the work that he provides just doing it for the dollar.
