I was beyond excited when I got accepted into the veterinary science program. From hearing about the course, I was pumped to help animals at the shelter, perform surgical care, examine blood samples, and take part in many other hands on skills in addition to the science aspect. However, we did not spend our year like planned. Most of our year compromised of using a textbook on the body systems, where we only got through 4 chapters. We learned the anatomy, terminology, and some basic skills. However, not even half of the medical supplies we received were ever touched. There are dozens of items throughout the room we never got to use. There are numerous skills we were not only supposed to be lectured about, but also perform were not done so. Listening to the other vet sci class at courthouse, it is obvious they are much more active in hands on activity. I and the rest of the students are surely not ready for the workforce. Either opportunities day last year had been played up to advertise the course or this year was a slump. I’m highly disappointed and feel like I and other aspiring students should receive an opportunity to receive what we were not rightfully given

Please don’t spend your money here. The school doesn’t care about students. I got my first semester refunded half way because the teacher barely showed up and taught us nothing. Program director didn’t even want us to have certificates, tried to only give us transcripts to show we graduated. After paying them $1200.00, I think I deserve a piece of paper showing my work! Program is unoriginzed, unsupervised and underdeveloped. Program director even mentioned it might be hard to find jobs because the schools reputation has not been good lately.
