We came in about 15 minutes before closing accidentally and a lovely waiter named Josh met us and was so warm and welcoming that we stayed and I’m so glad we did. Our waiter Enrique was fantastic. Just attentive enough and lovely when I asked him about wine (even though I am an absolute novice). The lighting and ambiance were perfect. We got the fried avocado and it was delicious! I cannot overstate how wonderful this experience was and we will definitely be back. What seems a little pricy at first glance is actually well worth it.

Fabulous atmosphere and delicious tapas! The fried manchego is a must. I loved every bit of my red sangria, too. The space is classy and intimate and would be a great spot to entertain friends! My date and i were thrilled by the presentation of each dish, and we left very satisfied.

Love this place! They have great tapas, great wine and nice, friendly service. Perfect place for a date or a dinner with a bunch of friends or family. They also have a cute patio which is great for social distancing!

We were extremely excited to try Debajo and the patio seating did not disappoint! Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. We ordered the Patatas Brava, Grilled Ribeye w/Crushed Red Pepper Amber Honey Sauce, and Tapa Traditional. We also ordered 2 items off the Specials menu as well as a glass of Sangria and Iced Tea. The Patatas, Ribeye, and Tapa Traditional came out quickly and we assumed that because our table was small (2 Top), the last 2 items would be brought later when we had more room. The items we had were fine and we ate them happily, but the Patatas resembled hash brown potatoes, the ribeye was more done than advertised, and the Tapas' jamon serrano was a bit dry. We finished our food and the table was cleared, but the remainder of the order was not served. We flagged down an employee (not our waitress) and asked for those dishes, and she went to check on it. Our original waitress came back and told us that the kitchen ran out of the specials. She admitted that she should have asked the kitchen when the order was placed, but neglected to do so as well as inform us. We decided not to order anything else and then asked for our check. When our waitress did not return, we took our check to the bar and was told by someone who I assume was the Manager that they comped the Sangria. It was unexpected, very nice, and we left. Our total bill was approximately $49 for 3 tapas and iced tea. The portions, of course, were small as they are tapas, but as we didn't get our entire order, we were still hungry. Fortunately we found another restaurant down the street and our night ended well. Unfortunately our experience did not live up to our expectations of Debajo. The ambiance was most definitely inviting and the sangria was one of the best I've had, but the food and service was not what we hoped for.

This place is incredible head-to-toe. I happened to wander in on opening night. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m impressed. The setting is romantic and intimate - candles on the tables and Spanish guitar music playing overhead. Original Spanish-inspired artwork lines the walls, including an 8 foot tall painting of an adorned cow skull. Cool! The staff is attentive, personable and authentic - no forced smiles or empty small talk. That’s big for me. As for drinks, they have a nice spread of fine red and white wines, as well as local draft beer and specialty house cocktails. I had a Marble lager and a Strawberry Shrub cocktail. Two thumbs up. And of course, most importantly - the food. I don’t believe in describing food because you really just have to try it yourself. I ordered 2 entrees and a dessert - it was outstanding. Just come try it. You won’t be disappointed.
