Buffalo Overlook

Its a giant egg...what more can I say

If you wanna come peaceful time I need to rest on the side of the highway the Buffalo overlook is incredible you want to get back to your God say some prayers and defend quiet and peace with a view that cannot be compared than that's the place to be

Lions and tigers and bears, not here. Nor did I see a Buffalo. Ought to change the name to NO Buffalo herd overlook.

Great spot to see the native buffalo up close. Ive only seen them a handful of times over a 3 year period and it was early in the morning and cold, with the exception of a nice September afternoon and all the youngins were in tow

If you don’t see buffalo at first sight don’t panic! The Denver environmental agency has installed a network of tunnels under US- 40 for the bison to travel safely to the other pastures. I when I first looked at the reviews it said you had to go at the crack of dawn I had arrived at 10:30am and believed I missed sighting them but the move around thru these tunnels to reach the other side of the highway.
