Great place to learn of the history of the original Coast Guard Station as we as learning about Westport. The Destruction Island First Order Fresnel Lens was was awesome to see.
Fabulous historical Maritime museum it's a must see and the Fresnel Lens from the lighthouse is PRICELESS history!!! XOXOXO
The light house lamp at the end is worth it. Breathtaking craftsmanship.
Very interesting bits of history. The Covid restrictions made it a little difficult but can't blame them for taking safety measures
Informative. Be sure to visit the nearby house that contains an actual lens (big light from a lighthouse) from the late 1800s
