Shorebirds Villas

My husband and I stayed here for the first time last July 2019 for our honeymoon and returned this July 2020 for our first anniversary. We enjoyed both our stays very much. The first year we were in the Egyptian themed villa and this year we were in the Hawaiian themed one. I adore the themes and their respective decor. They smell a tad of old house in the upstairs but nothing opening the windows and room spray couldn't help. These little villas have a surprising amount of room inside, especially for two people. The location is pretty quiet and a short walk from town and a little bit further to the beach access. Michael and Mandy the caretakers were such kind and helpful people whom I really enjoyed talking to. I suggested to Michael that adding a few hooks to hang clothes, especially in the bathroom would be really helpful. Perhaps by the front sliding doors as well.

Stayed here with my family recently, and it was PHENOMENAL. Clean, spacious, great value and courteous staff. We have absolutely found our new preferred place to stay in Ocean Shores! Keep on being awesome!

Beautifully decorated Villa. We stayed in the Egyptian Villa for my daughters 15th birthday and the kids loved the awesome design. The only issue we had was that we could hear the neighbors next door. It was like they were in the same room with you. The one room with no windows wasn’t easy to fall asleep with the neighbors kid next door banging on the wall and talking. BUT OVERALL it was nice. It was also close to the kids arcade just around the corner and across from shops and the famous Fish Shack. The weather wasn’t in our favor so it kept us inside mostly. Dog owners beware.nnThe cottages are cute enough, but I would caution guests with dogs to look elsewhere. The owners charged me for damage to the room they claimed my dog did. The issue is, the room already was already damaged before I checked in.nnIf you are going to stay here with your dog, be sure to document any damage to the room for your own records and to counter any claims of dog damage the owners might allege.

Great little get away. Villas are very nice and the themes are detailed. My wife and I just stayed here for Valentines weekend. We stayed at the Egyptian one and it was beautiful and very romantic.
