I lived here for a year & I go back in a few weeks once renovations are finishing up & I can’t wait! Compared to where I’ve been at crosswinds office management right now is very responsive & helps to make sure you’re pleased with everything! When I first moved in it was different people in the office & the only issue I had was a delay on work orders but that quickly changed & they would come pretty fast! I actually loved the environment there everyone’s pretty friendly & minds their own. It’s good complex food quality for what you pay! I always recommended this for a good complex to go to!
TM Associates is a terrible management company. The entire complex is in disrepair, there was a large fire at the trash dump that completely damaged a garage and a townhome that wasn’t fixed for months. The grass on the property wasn’t cut for the first time in 2020 until it was at least 6” tall, up to a foot tall in some areas. The ramp to the trash compactor gets filled up with trash every weekend because people don’t actually put their waste inside the compactor. Stay far away.
Their website is easy to manager and explains everything I needed to know.
I lived here from 2019-2020. Management and office workers changed the month I was moving out.nnWhen I went to move in they scheduled the carpets to be cleaned on the same day after I was already moving in most of my furniture. I had to deal with dirty carpets from the previous tenant(s) for a week before they came and cleaned around my furniture. In the spring the grass would get so tall that my neighbors small dog would almost disappear under it. I always had to call the office multiple times to get maintenance out to fix issues. I eventually befriended one of the maintenance workers and would just let him know when something was wrong. There is only one dumpster for the whole apartment complex. I was on the opposite end of the complex so I would have to put my trash in my car and drive it over. When the dumpster would get full people just fill the entire ramp with trash bags and dump their trash all over that area.nnMy downstairs neighbors sold drugs and I heard yelling and shots a couple times but I just stayed indoors. My other downstairs neighbor had them at his door with a gun before screaming at him for who knows what. I just steered clear of them. The girlfriend would walk up to my door and just talk nonsense at my door. One time I found her on the ground kicking and screaming. She was the only one outside. I don’t know what that was about but I just went back indoors. The office workers would just tell me that those neighbors were hard to deal with as they would come in the office and curse at them so they didn’t want to do anything about it.nnAfter moving out I never received my deposit. I didn’t really care until applying for a new place this year. I decided to call and make sure everything was okay after I moved out when they told me I still owed rent which was odd because I made sure it was fully paid in 6 month increments when I would get my student loans. Funniest part was that I only owed like $300 and some. That’s not even a full months rent? They apparently took it out of my deposit and sent the rest of what I owed to a collection agency. They had my forwarding address upon move out and I never received a letter from them nor the collection agency. I was strapped on time as I wanted my application for my new place to go through so I figured I’d just pay the rest and get it over with. I wish I would’ve had more time to inquire about why it was such a small amount when I paid my rent months ahead of time but what’s done is done.nnOn a positive note it’s fairly cheap to live here. Neighbors (other than my downstairs ones I spoke about above) are friendly here. It’s also the only apartment complex on that road which was nice in my opinion. It’s also very close to 270.nnOverall, to me, the negative outweighed the positive here and I was excited to move out.
I would love to move here, or at least take a tour. But where is the website? it’s now gone and is no longer on the apartments app. What’s going on
