I have been out of the Apartment since August and I have yet to still get my deposit back, which is promised back in the lease. We pay for renters insurance while we lived there so that would have covered the cost for the normal wear and tear . I lived there two years. I’ve called and called the office, have gotten no call backs! Someone already lives in my apartment so why haven’t I got my money back. ? I’ve seen both maintenance men and they said my apartment wasn’t bad at all just normal wear and tear. I’m getting very frustrated because you can’t even get ahold of corporate, you can call and call till you get blue in the face. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING TO ABBINGTON VILLAGE!

4 minutes agonDO Not attempt to rent an apartment through this company, they are THIEVES!!! I paid an application fee plus a $100 holding fee, which was refundable if the application was denied. I have called Gina, who works in the leasing office at Abington Village in Columbus, Ohio, everyday for almost a month, trying to get my money back, and she will not return my calls. I have also called and emailed Daniel Kline, who handles the residential leasing from their corporate office, and am not getting a response. I called the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint and was told that they have other complaints for this very same issue. Shame on you Gina, at Abbyington Village, for stealing from people who right now are struggling because of COVID. DO NOT TRY TO GET AN APARTMENT THROUGH THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE $100 TO THROW AWAY.

I have been to the office personally and I’ve called twice in the last month for maintenance to come out and repair a wall in my bathroom that had previously been repaired before I moved in. Maintenance said they’d be out a week later to fix it. It’s not been a month and no one will return my calls. These guys are lazy and procrastinate until the last second. Not professional what so ever.

I haven't even moved in yet and hope it is as great as the reviews. I met with Gina and she was Very helpful and easy to talk to. Thank you. I look forward to my new journey in my new home!nSo I am about to pay my first month rent and it increased by $12 more than what was agreed when I signed the lease. When I spoke with Stacy she advised they can't change the pricing like that. Then Gina should not have stated she would have it lowered if it was not feasible.nThe carpet wasn't new and they had maintenance clean the carpet but stains still remain.nTo charge as much as they do that should be top of the list with assigned parking spots.nThey have a gate to enter the community but I have yet to see it closed.nI was advised when approved that the gate is closed during specific times.nBut other than the miscommunication, the community and maintenance seem okay so far. I'll keep reviewers updated the longer I am there.
