I love the nurse, Mrs.Scannello who is phenomenal in handling my sons medical conditions. She is sufficient & pleasant, as well as, the gym teacher, Mrs.Postel. When expressing an issue to my sons special ed.teacher about a racial slur, that was said to my son, by another student. I was never notified. Over the phone, March 2017, I was treated in a very disrespectful & rude manner. I was dealt in an unnecessary confrontational attitude, as I tried to speak, the phone was hung up on me, by the Asst. Principal. I was stunned, so I made an appt. with the Principal, that was useless. I think the teacher needs to learn how to deal with Special children, if your expertise is dealing with Special Education. I'm extremely disappointed. I submitted the proper paperwork & never heard a thing from anyone, since the incident. No displinary actions were taken nor an apology. However, the incident had nothing to do with the Special Education Department, at all.
