Very impressive museum! So much history presented, and wonderful exhibits.

I really like this place in Washington. When I was a child my father showed me this place. As for me, it was like a historical fairytale, everything was fascinating. The mission of Society and the Museum is to be the hub of history and culture in the community and I think that is the best mission could be. Children, teens will discover our history and will save it in their minds.

Quincy Valley Historical Society & MuseumnPicturenThe town of Quincy circa 1911.nnManaging Quincy's Heritage Site, the QVHSM is a registered 501(c)3 charity. Founded in 2002, the Society has undertaken phenomenal challenges in just 12 years, restoring the 1904 Reiman-Simmons House, now listed on the National Register of Historic Place, and the 1904 Pioneer Church, now listed on the Washington Heritage Register. Both facilities, a Summer Kitchen, garden, modern bathroom facilities, Archive and beautifully landscaped grounds make this heritage site one that our community can be proud of.nWe invite you to visit us and learn the stories of the early settlers of this valley....nEven more, we invite you to become a part of this community of volunteers, who are committed to all aspects of our mission - from preserving history to providing educational and cultural events!
