I live at Legacy Commons off of roughly 170th and West Center Road.nnMy time here has been awful. We had to move from one unit to another due to a tenant below us consistently having domestic disputes within their apartment. Walls are paper thin and we had complained about noise to our leasing office for months. Despite police reports being filed the Leasing Office chose not to pursue evicting the disturbing tenant. And gave us the option to leave our leasing agreement or to move to another unit. Rather than evict a tenant that had 5-10 instances where police had to arrive to settle their noise disputes. Unbelievable.nnFurthermore, this ENTIRE PROPERTY is covered in dog feces. We have asked our leasing office to clean the property up, and relatively speaking they haven’t addressed the issue at all.nnThis property claims to be “pet friendly” and “proud to be smoke free”. However, neither of which are true in hardly any capacity. Tenants smoke outside of every building every day. We’be emailed, talked to, and called to report this to our leasing office and yet the problem STILL persists...nnLastly, Legacy Commons collects a monthly pet rent, and simultaneously puts harmful chemicals all over their property. Ranging from concrete sealant to ice melt that is extremely industrial and harmful to animals. We have reported this issue 10+ times concerning the ice melt in the past 2 years. The last time I pursued the concern I was asked to leave my leasing office by my property manager. Saying I was “mad I didn’t get the outcome I wanted”.nnMy property manager acknowledged that these chemicals in ice melt cause Gastrointestinal problems in dogs, as well as issues with burning their paws. The email told us to use dog shoes or to wipe our dogs paws EACH AND EVERY TIME we simply go to let our dog use the restroom. We have incurred veterinary costs due to the ice melt, and have reported that as well. This is negligence.nnSave your yourself the time and money and live at a property managed by a better ownership group. This group is all about the bottom line and saving money. Response time to serious concerns vary dramatically and often times solutions are never provided (see above).
