Wilson Focus School

All 3 of my kids have attended the focus program and have excelled. Great teachers, staff and atmosphere. The kids actually feel like part of a family within the school. This is not just any school, it will change your child's life.

My oldest sone started when it was Underwood many years ago. He is now a Junior at Burke. We have LOVED this program since day one. They have awesome teachers, Mr. Anderson is the greatest and I love everything they have to offer. I now have a 3rd grade student attending and my little guy has two more years to join the Focus Family!

As a parent, this was one of the worst schools my child has ever been to. Their main focus was on punishment and sending kids home, when it should be their education. You shouldn't bring your child to this school. My child and his friends were racially profiled. Mrs. Moats would accuse my child of doing things he didn't do. Mrs. Moats should be fired or taught how to handle children. Mr.Beyer-Crigect would be rude and show my child attitude and when he shows it back he will get my son in trouble. Mr. Anderson (The principal) is doing his best to keep the school stable, unlike other staff members. Mrs. Deas is the best teacher my child has ever had, he loved how she taught and how she spread her love and joy. Mrs. Kurland gets into people's business way too much, she raised her voice at my son. Overall, this school needs some well trained staff.

Can I please get 10 starts for this school? I have seen my kid go from being a student who did not want to go to school, participate in activities or do his homework to one who at least rolls out of bed with enthusiasm, wants to get there early and comes home to learn more. All schools should follow this model - or at least a lot more!

It was nice but I didn't like all of the classes. Mrs. Moats was strict like Mr. Buyer. I highly recommend this school to teachers like Ms. Fischer, Mrs. Kurland.
