Beware, not open during the week like Google says. Open Sat 10-2 only. Awesome place for all ages. Kids especially love it.
The NTRC is just reopening after recovering from a fire where they lost basically everything. Through the generosity of community members and hardworking NTRC members they have opened on Saturdays. Most of their displays are works in progress but I was happy to find their members even more enthusiastic then they were before. Sharing their club history, display plans and giving us a full tour! Unfortunately rebuilding has come at a cost and there will eventually be a fee to visit the museum but for now its donation only.
Great time with papa. Great host Bill showed us around.
Neat place, lots of interesting train layouts, fine workmanship! Worth a stop.
This is a great place to spend some time with the kids. They have areas where kids can interact with the trains and even drive a small set.nnIf you are interested in model trains this is also a great place to get involved rather than taking over your basement with your own set
