Adam parent was the listing broker and during the negotiations of the sale of this home I believe he entered into misleading negotiations as to Verbally excepting one set of terms and then failing to update the contract shame on myself for not reading the contract completely eventually we did purchase the home. During the closing he sat there without his homeowners chewing gum snapping it and not entering into any conversations with us and only spoke when he was spoken to, when the closing was concluded he stood up shook the hand of the purchasing broker and the closing attorney and Turned and walked out without even congratulating or shake the hands of myself or my wife .... top shelf he was

Recently purchased a new home in Biddeford. Matt Vier was the selling agent for the home we purchased and man is he terribly unprofessional and really ruined the experience of buying our first home. He MASSIVELY failed to ensure his sellers had all the debris / garbage removed from the home before we signed our contract. So moving into our new home, we had a basement full of ancient and expired cleaning supplies, broken shelves, old pool equipment and floaties, various children’s items. Broken, useless shelves, a few boxes with random junk in them. A garage full of old stuff, including broken doors and other building materials. Both city provided trash barrels were filled to the brim with literal old bags of garbage to boot. We spent the first couple days in our new home getting rid of garbage, and cleaning up someone else’s mess. All because Matt Veir failed to make sure the CONTRACTUAL agreement stating all debris needs to be removed from the property and it needs to be broom swept was met and kept by his sellers.nnIn addition to this Matt ensured the experience was even worse by never coming to take the huge key lock box off of our homes back door (we bought the home two weeks ago and he said he’d be there the following weekend to remove it) so I’m going to purchase some bolt cutters to get it off. Laying in the grass of my front yard is still his signs which we’ll have to throw away as well. When we had our buying agent reach out to Matt about all the trash left in our new home he basically stated that he wasn’t going to bother his sellers because they decided to drop in price to meet our appraisers value, he was very passive aggressive and condescending, as if it shouldn’t be his or their problem. (Again CONTRACTUAL) . He did offer to get a truck and come remove it himself but he’s the last person we wanted in our new home at this point (and not to mention why wouldn’t he offer to do this for his sellers if he cared so much) after such a poor experience and at that point we had already thrown away the majority of the garbage.nnI’m sure the brokerage itself is great and I know people who have good experiences with this company but no matter what you do DO NOT use Matt Vier for buying or selling. Best case he’s lazy, worst case he’s grossly incompetent.nnI’m just noticing I can post pictures of all the junk that’s left and wish I had saved the ones I sent to my selling agent.
