A Rockford institution
I cannot say enough good things about this place! Nick makes everything from scratch and the pizza is absolutely delicious! You have to try it!
Super disappointing... pizza was so bad I had to throw it away. People always told me the food here was good but wow did they lie! YUCK! Never going again
This place used to be top notch. Not anymore. The last pizza I bought will be the last pizza I buy. Man, have they gone downhill.
Growing up in Rockford, Gulotta's was a treat my whole life. I'm sure to get some when in town visiting my Dad who still raves about it. Nick is such a friendly & welcoming person. To the very few reviews not liking the pizza, I can say it's unlike any other: crust is a mix of freshly baked bread with a crispy outer layer, sauce is mild but distinct, and the cheese blend is also special. I would expect maybe 1 of 20 will not like, but for the rest of us, this pizza is otherworldly & a staple of my Rockford roots. Thanks Nick!!!
