Wallace Elementary School

It's close to home and has a nice big Field and basketball courts for the kids to burn some energy. The playground equipment isn't the best I've ever seen but it's safe and it keeps the kids entertained.

Construction work going on for quite some time now.

The front office folks are helpful but whenever them employees park they hog up the parking all day in front of the residents on S. 4th Ave. & surrounding streets. That has been a concern for many years. Changes and improvements are coming soon. Not sure why the school is considered to be in a poverty community. Lots of working citizens, lots of beautiful homes & empty homes up for sale &/or renovations.

I attended Wallace from 88 through 94 when I completed 6th grade. These were the greatest years of my life. Granted the school has seen better days but never let that fool anyone, the teachers are top notch.
