We attended the Polar Express festivity, and it was such a great experience! The organizer went above and beyond to bring the book/movoe to real life. All the characters are present, and there's a nice show of the North Pole--what a surprise! The entire ride is filled with entertainment so you won't feel bored. Kids had a blast, and we did too. They also offer regular train rides from May through October. Will be neat to check out next fall
Excellent place to bring family , especially children and grandchildren. Many hands on things too see in both the museum and the downtown train depot as well as gift shops available. Rest rooms available at both locations they allow drinks and snacks to be brought on the train excursions no restrooms on trains . Tickets available at the museum if you intend on boarding at the downtown depot they will give you a pass with number of passengers and then once you get to the museum you can purchase your tickets there. So much other history to see and learn. many old steam and diesel trains are available to take self guided tours , photographs available to see . They also have the polar express but tickets go very fast for this event every year they usually sell out in about 10 minutes.
Historic and magical.. great for kids and family. Perfect for a date. Have to get tickets very early like in June.
Great train museum. They have an old Depot downtown and a large main complex on the edge of town. Excellent collection. They also do Polar Express for the holidays.
This place is awesome! We come here every year for the Polar Express and have a blast. Our daughter enjoys seeing Santa and riding the train. The train museum is very interesting as well.
