The MCHS is a great place to wander for a couple of hours. They have very interesting displays of weaving, sewing, quilting, McHenry County farming history and early McHenry County. Great school house and log house!!
This place is amazingly slick, surprising fun, and very friendly.
It's a relatively small place but they have some very interesting items there.
I was there for the antique appraisal and had so much fun. So many people with every item you can imagine. The historical society does such a marvelous job educating residents on the rich history of McHenry County.
Went for appraisal fair was fun
