You used to go these small hardware stores and you would be greeted and someone was always there to help you out. I stopped by a few weeks ago and wasn't approached by anyone for help. I had to go the sales guy and asked if they had this particular cleaning agent. Instead of taking me to where the item was. He told where it was located and of course it wasn't there. Nothing more frustrating then not finding what your looking for and not getting help. Does anyone take pride in their job. Take ownership and be of help. I was better off going to Home Depot where your pretty much have to go on a scavenger hunt and then you have to run your own register.
Great service and very knowledgeable- went the extra mile to make sure my key was properly programmed.

Not too long ago I came in looking for a specific item for my home and a very nice young lady offered to help. Her name was Kayla and she showed me a variation of options and helped me narrow down the best one for me! I loved the service and the help!
I recently shopped at Ace hardware in Waukegan last Wednesday. I was very impressed by how professionally I was greeted by Connie. She took the time to not only tell me where to go to find the items I needed but actually showed me where everything was. As I was checking out, She asked me if I had any coupons. I had put one in my purse but forgot about it. Thank you Connie, for reminding me. I will definitely be back.
