Allen St Laundry

Well the laundry mat here has always been nice since they let you wash 24/7 and Holly and I have done like all of our clothes and linen at the same time before and just knocked it all out. There's always someone Interesting to talk to as well. Anyways tonight I met a cool kid that was coming down from Seattle to meet his girlfriend who was coming from California. While he was waiting on the dash he was mixing music on his laptop in the parking lot and I got to share with him a lot about what Holly has taught me. I remember telling him about belligerent confidence and anyway........Allen St Laundry Rules.

Good place to do laundry. They have huge wash machines for blankets and bedding. Good hot dryers that get clothes dried quickly. Usually pretty well kept. Sometimes it's a little sketchy because of the people there. But for the most part its a good place. Don't recommend leaving and leaving ur laundry there cause it may not be there when u get back

Open 24 hrs. But some washers smell musty, as they are not wiped down after each use, collecting water, hair, and others fibers in and around the doors.nnThe laundry card, costs a dollar. Then you add money to it, to wash and dry. It is better than Twin City Laundry, in Longview, where you use your debit card, and it holds $15 against your bank, before it charges the actual amount you used, when your bank gets around to processing it.nnHowever, technology is not good for everything. I wanted to add time to the dryer, ended up adding enough to make it 40 min, instead of 24. Meant to only add 8 more min. But the display, was not showing me my options.nnTwo loads to wash, cost me $5. Drying $4. $9, for two regular sized loads.nnBathrooms, are closed.

Kinda ghetto. No on site manager. Washers smell and are dirty. YOU HAVE to buy a card for a $1 to use any of the machines. That's kinda a pain. But it is open 24/7. I liked that.

I like doing laundry there. The manager only cleans it once a day around 6AM but especially with pandemic there needs to be more cleaning done. The washers need a bleach wash cycle done with no clothes once a month and the counters and outside of machines need cleaned a couple times a day as well.. If you do laundry there mornings between 8 and 11 AM are best.
