I’ve always wanted to try Phoenix hair salon due to the reviews I was super excited to try a new hairstylist which is always risky. I booked an app with Anela. Right away I told her what I wanted a cut thinning and brown hair dye. She immediately told me I would look better in layers and wanted to do highlights in my hair. I told her it wouldn’t be for me but she kept insisting! I was getting really uncomfortable at this point saying no over and over and I eventually told her I would come back for highlights (obviously wasn’t going to since I didn’t want it in the first place). She was done with the cut within 10 mnts and talked for 30. the next day after I showered and blow dried the hair I went to event for work and everyone told me how UNeven my hair looked!! They asked me if I got layers or just a bad hair cut!! I was so upset and disappointed I reached out to her and she didn’t even apologize!!! Omg I am in disbelief at her unprofessionalism. She said she couldn’t refund me but would cut my hair even this time?! I didn’t feel comfortable with her touching my hair ever again and she kept insisting to come back. She didn’t EVER apologize & asked me for pictures accusing me of lying? So I did and once she saw them obviously she didn’t respond she was so embarrassed I’m sure of it. It looked like a 7 year old grabbed scissors and cut my hair. Never going here again and don’t recommend whatsoever terrible experience all around!!!!

Convenient and affordable

I showed the stylist multiple pictures of the look I was going for and she matched it perfectly! The entire staff is very welcoming!
