Great place to spend an afternoon! Open 1-4 on Sundays from May through September. There is a picnic shelter, many original buildings that have been moved to the village and some that were built on site. If you want to find out something about Jones County Iowa History this is the place to experience it. The Pancake Breakfast is held on the first Sunday in May. The last Sunday in August is the Edinburgh Folk Festival, and on the Sunday before Halloween there is a safe Trick or Treat for the kids.
It's so much fun going for the Safe Trick or Treat! They work so hard and it's always the best time.
