Not horrible. Customer service on the trains is not great, but adequate. A smile once in a while would be nice. I do appreciate the observation windows and seating, a lot. The canteen workers are always nice, too.

This is a very cozy place to wait for a train. It’s a bit hard to find the first time because it’s tucked away. Clean bathrooms

No checked luggage even though they said there was when we called ahead of timenStation agent kicked my 88 yo mother-in-law young grand children and my wife out of the station to wait an hour for the train with hazardous air quality we went to carnNo long term parkingnThis is why you should fly

I really want to like riding the train however, out of the 4 tries I've given Amtrak there's been trip changing issues. My first attempt the train broke down and I had to take a lyft (on my own dime and plan) to a bus station to ride the bus to my destination.nnThe second ride was an uneventful and pleasant trip on the train, which is exactly what I hoped for.nnThe third trip had issues with the track, which caused an hour and a half delay (for a normally 2.5 hour train ride).nnNow...the fourth ride... This trip too had an issue with the track so the train went back to my original departure location. We were told that we would have to take a bus to our destination instead of the train. At no time during this incident were we provided any information concerning when the bus would arrive in lieu of the train. Because of this we we're afraid of leaving to eat in fear of missing the bus.nnOn this approximately 2.5 hour train ride, it wasn't until 5 hours later that the bus arrived to now make the 3.5 hour drive (now rush hour traffic conditions). After arriving more than 8 hours after our original scheduled arrival time (on a bus that leaked water onto my luggage) , Amtrak refused to refund the fare because I was transported to my destination, which is not untrue...nnIn conclusion, if you're okay with 1:4 good to bad ratio, you don't have a schedule to keep and you don't mind brain damaging customer service logic than allll aboard!

Libby is one of the station managers. She was so helpful, friendly, and kind on a stressful morning. I so appreciate the team at this station.
