The Mountains Apartments

I have lived here for over a year and management just changed. They are great and make sure they get things done. The last management wasn't so good and the new management had a lot to catch up on but they are doing great! They do have cook roaches but not inside my apartment. They have bug guys come out regularly now.

My elderly mother lives here currently. She has had nothing but trouble since she has lived there. Maintenance does not repair anything when you request it. In the two years she has lived there, they have upped her rent several times to the point she can no longer afford it. Living on a small amount of Social Security, she is now borrowing money to keep her rent up.nnSomething needs to change with the management of this complex. I am going to post as many reviews over the internet as I can, as well as put a complaint into the BBB. I ask the question; if you are unwilling to fix anything, or keep the place suitable to live, how can you raise the rent? Only money hungry people without a conscience do that.

The Mountain Apt.Ne 66Av are infested with cocroaches! And poor maintenance my rent has been raised from 885.00 to 1010.00 a month,I sighned a lease in Oct 2014 the lease was not honered and my rent was still raised,I have written notices to management about the maintenance, main concern is the cocroache infestation, I also have reported the problems with two of the mountain employees, and still haven't done anything about the problems.Also on two separate ocasions I have had intruders walk into my apt that was scary the intruder was by my elderly mothers room !luckily the police came and I have a lifetime restraining order from this event! I FEEL THAT COMPENSATION should be applied, also cigarette butts all over my back entrance from Neighbors throwing cigarette butts into yard from the upstairs apt.also complained about and they are still in my yard hundreds of cigarette butts I have tried to clean them up but they just keep coming.Help we are two women that r disabled, I can not live like this!very low scale apartments with high rent.
