Great department. Proactive in a no BS manor. These guys aren’t looking to pull everyone over. Very professional and very polite officers on every encounter I’ve had. Couldn’t ask for a better agency.
If i could give them a half a star i would. On xmas eve my husband was assulted by someone who was not a resident there at our complex we lived in. We called benbrook poilce and they came out to make a report on the incident and they ended up putting things in the report they we didnt say or that wasn't true. On another occasion my niece boyfriend threatened my husband and again they came out made a report and yet borh times noone went to jail. The incident that occured on Xmas eve the suspect should have went to jail as he had drugs on him but benbrook let him go. They are a worthless police department.
You know when you have been drinking since you have been 16 and never got a ticket or pulled over, and a week before you almost died and you’re scared and at an all time low and then you finally get pulled over when you know on your record you have never gotten anything and they can see but instead of a warning because it’s the end of the month they give you a ticket and you’re like great that’s exactly why my driving school when I was 16 to avoid driving in Benbrook because they pull over people like crazy and now you’re gonna just not even go to Benbrook because I’m not white anyways
I think this will be my next profession.
I was walking around the block with my two grandchildren in the 100+ weather. The police car passed us And my four-year-old granddaughter said I’m scared of policemen. At that very moment the police car returned And Officer Bonilla stopped and gave both kids a ‘badge sticker’ and showed them how to turn on the flashing lights. Definite points for being a good neighbor.
