Hitchcock Police Department

Dont know if there are new police in Hitchcock, but little over a year ago the people working for Hutchcock police were crooked and profiled me for a month. Not only did they follow me theu would drive into my place of employment just to park and sit there so i know they were there and they knew i was driving. I admit i should not have been driving my truck at that time bevsuse stickers were out ,but i use to go to work at 4 a.m. and when it. Was raining i wasnt about to walk in rain to work. Even though i literally worked 5 min away and most days id walk but 5 min but when it was raining so much last year i was unable. So 1 night at midnight i got off drove not even 2 min home and park my truck and then police officer taps on my window wanting my info. I asked if i did something wrong and if they were gonna arrest me man says no no no just thought u looked suspicious. Ooookaayy. I looked suspicious driving into my own driveway and parking infront of my home. Long story short after about 15 min of me trying to get an answer ti why he was there he noticed my reg was out then says thats why. Bs. Took me to jail towed my truck off my property because i started putting my belongings plus phone that had video of whole ordeal in center console and didnt want to take them to jail well when getting out of jail the cop had taken my phone and brought it to jail where he then erased the video off my phone. Then week later 11 a.m going home from wrk it was raining they stopped me next door ti where i lived. Took mejail. Towed truck again for no reg sticker. It was the tall hipanic man withth that girl cop whose Hispanic to. Ended up paying over 1100 in bonds and gettin my truck out. It got dismissed but the hassle and $ i lost was ridiculous. Hope new police officers because that mess and harassment traumatized me.

I have lived just down the street from the PD over ten years and these guys have always been great for me.nThey stop by occasionally just to shoot the breeze.
