Josh Bell was my technician, he phoned to tell me he was on his way and showed up in the time frame he quoted. I needed the shut off valves for my washer replaced. It getting harder for me to use the standard style, when I told Josh he went to his truck and brought me a different style handle to see if it might work better for me. I was happy to have a better option.... Josh then gave me a quote and told me about coupons available on the Blue Star Plumbing site that saved $60. After I agreed to the quoted amount he completed the needed work. Josh was polite, professional, and friendly. After he completed the work and I made payment, he asked if the guys that dropped off my new washing machine were coming back, when I told him they were not, he promptly asked if I would like his help to place and hook up the washer. He didn’t have to to that, what was just a few minutes of his time was a real help to me. I really appreciate him willing and wanting to be helpful. I will use in the future without hesitation. Do yourself a favor and consider Blue Star Plumbing if you have plumbing issues.
I can’t recommend this company enough. They are one of the most professional group of folks that do the right thing!! Called in the morning and they were out that same day with one of the most courteous technicians I’ve ever had out to the house. Got us fixed up promptly and efficiently!!
I was charged $650 for 15 minutes of work and the plumber told me the cost of the replaced part was $45 retail. To justify the price the plumber used fear tactics stating they may need to cut through my brick. For this price I did not get the luxury of them cleaning up after work and doing the basics of returning the water meter to how they found it.nn**Update***nI do not see how to respond to the owner's message so I will do it here. If you feel that $550 ($650 total) is a fair price for the work you did (15 minutes) then thank you for confirming your approach to price gouging. I did not mention my refill line, had nothing to do with my review. My water meter cover was left open by your plumber.nnThe net is that after the owner's response my review stands. This company charged me in total $650 for 15 minutes of sloppy work. They did not show any willingness in their response below to contact me to discuss my concerns around the quality and cost of the work. Those looking for plumbers should consider this when making their decision on who to hire.
Let's face it, everybody hates to have plumbing issues. But when you do, you need to know whomever you call will fix the problem and fix it right. It also matters a great deal that the company you call be one you can trust. On both fronts - competency and integrity - Blue Star Plumbing is the best there is. Their technicians are friendly and professional. I've been using them for years because they're the kind of company you can count on. I highly recommend you give them a call.
Josh and Kevin are LIFESAVERS!!!n2 weeks without water due to busted pipes everywhere in my home after freeze ....after 9 hrs.these guys replaced almost all the pipes and had it all repaired. They are very knowledgeable, professional & thorough.nAlso, they did a great job of cleaning up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thanks guys..!
