Least transparent agency in the state. No body cams, 100% encrypted radios, no citizen accountability. VPD controls all information released if/when they decide the community should be notified. This agency lacks positive leadership and community oriented policing. Way behind the times.

These officers have been AMAZING!nIm being criminally harassed by my neighbor and they have responded quickly and habe been kind and supportive.nI am truly grateful! I feel they have gone above and beyond in some instances!nTHANK YOU!

Do you think the Vancouver police department gives a rat's ass if one of your coworkers rifled through your wallet and stolen a debit card, which was used, your drivers license and social security card? What if you even investigate the incident yourself and provide proof of the perpetrator? Do you think they will bother to do anything about it then? Take a guess. With the help of a specific employee there, I hold out hope. Very compassionate person. Thank you, Donna.
